Born on February 2, 1920 in Cooleemee, North Carolina, Zeb Eaton (Zebulon Vance Eaton) played for the Detroit Tigers for his entire 2 year career. Eaton broke into the bigs on April 18, 1944 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 4.05 ERA in 53.1 innings pitched in 1945, his rookie year.
