Young Bussey (Ruey Young Bussey) was born on October 4, 1917 in Timpson, Texas. After going to high school at (Houston, TX), Bussey attended Louisiana State University. Bussey made his professional debut in the NFL in 1941 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 1 year career.
