Born on June 16, 1889 in Pleasanton, Nebraska, Win Noyes (Winfield Charles Noyes) played for the Boston Braves, Philadelphia Athletics and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 3 year career. Noyes broke into the bigs on May 19, 1913 with the Boston Braves, and put up a 2.95 ERA in 171 innings pitched in 1917, his rookie year.
