Willie Ponder (Willie Columbus Ponder) was born on February 14, 1980 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Central (Tulsa, OK), Ponder attended Coffeyville CC*, Southeast Missouri State University and the University of Tulsa. Ponder made his professional debut in the NFL in 2003 with the New York Giants. He has played for the New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 2004 was Willie Ponder's best year, as he had 967 kick return yards and ran back a kickoff for a touchdown.
