Willie Miranda (Guillermo (Perez) Miranda) was born on May 24, 1926 in Velasco, Cuba. He made his Major League debut on May 6, 1951 for the Washington Senators. In 1952, his rookie year, he hit .211 with 0 home runs and 8 RBI. Miranda played for the Washington Senators, St. Louis Browns, Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 9 year career.
