We all got to see the Rocket’s Red Glare…err sort of last night…. But it still looks like a little candle compared to the Hot Fire that Walker’s Rants spits out every week. So with that being said, let’s get down to business. Walker’s Rants are a go…

The Spurs threw everything and the kitchen sink at LeBron, and it worked…

Roger Clemens looked like an old pitcher yesterday… have fun with that Yankee fans 89mph on the fastball…

Agent Zero wants out of Washing after next year; well at least it was fun while it lasted…

The NBA is stupid to run game 2 against the Soprano’s. No question what I’m watching…

He’s not a Homerun Homer, but Homer Bailey could be a good addition to the Reds pitching staff if his body can hold up…

A Filly wins the Belmont, least there was something interesting going on up there…

What’s that I feel? Oh wait it’s the boredom that comes with summertime in sports…

Saturday night was a good night for boxing. Two big matches in two well contested bouts. Now if only there was a heavyweight out there…

Tony Parker will win the Championship for the Spurs…

Congrats to Belmont Shore RFC for finishing up an undefeated season, with a 2007 Super League Title…

I finally figured it out; Chad Johnson racing a horse offends me. I think its degrading…

How is Kenny Lofton still making a career in the MLB?

College basketball coaches need to be held more accountable for everything they do…

If only Ken Griffey Jr. didn’t miss all that time with injury….

Daunte Culpepper will have at least 1 more good season with another team. Miami will regret this…

Think you're wrong about Culpepper. The only thing regarding him that Miami regrets will be last year.

Daunte rushed back too soon last season from that injury. Let's at least give him a chance to compete healthy.

Agreed. I just find it hard to believe that he fell that far that fast. 2 years ago he was a rival of Peyton for top QB and most TD's. That knee injury was devistating and he rushed back to save a franchise. IT was just too much.

That injury was devastating. And in attempt to put behind the "Love Boat" fiasco and show good faith to his new team, Daunte attempted to put the needs of the Dolphins ahead of his own health. Unfortunately, this did not work out. Now hopefully healthy, he deserves a chance to either play himself back in or out of the NFL. Players are undoubtedly paying attention because of this guy is not given a chance to compete, it signals to the others that it is not worth returning early from an injury.

I'm not saying he doesn't deserve a chance to compete, and with the lack of top QBs available, someone certainly will give him that chance. I'm just saying that I think he's lost it. I think mobility is his gig and he's lost it.

True, Culpepper, unlike other physical running QBs of his day that survive in the league is more based on athleticism than passing and you can see the results...

Donovan McNabb, a passer, is still in the league (remains to be seen, but I think he's gonna have a good year)

Steve Young, became a good passer

Michael Vick, terrible passer, struggles

CJ racing a horse is degrading? For the horse? I don't get it. Chris Collinsworth did the same thing years ago for charity. At least CJ is making the papers for good citizenship (unlike most of his teamates)

How about Barkley racing the horse?

I know that Chris Collinsworth did it a few years ago and lost by a nose. Im glad that CJ did it for charity and Im that he keeps his nose clean when most of the Bengals have trouble doing that. My problem with it is, when I hear stories of humans racing animals, I think of when Jessie Owens was forced to raced Animals for money, because he could not get indorsment deals or find work despite being a "American Hero"

Your dead on about Griffey...if he hadn't gotten injured so much, the whole bonds thing would be a moot point and griffey would probably be right next to him at age 35 looking at a few more years, outlasting bonds and probably holding the record at 800 and some odd homers...most of which were done with respect to the game and a smile on his face...steroids or no steroids, all of us would feel better if Junior held this record than bonds...

What happens when A-Fraud is challenging the record in a few years?

At the very least, A-Rod and griffey are on the same plane for steroids...its up in the air, but at least A-Rod is proving he's good regardless and does have respect for the game...

I don't think you'll see people has happy for him to break it, but the fervor to remove bonds from the books will be there, and for that he may just go from hated "Double-play rod" to savior Alex Rodriguez...

Anyone over Bonds...
