Wes Parker (Maurice Wesley Parker) was born on November 13, 1939 in Evanston, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 19, 1964 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1964, his rookie year, he hit .257 with 3 home runs and 10 RBI. Parker played for the Los Angeles Dodgers for his entire 9 year career.

Most people believe that Wes Parker's best season was 1970, when he hit for a .319 average and knocked in 111 runs.
