[edit] BiographyAcquired Traded to Calgary by Winnipeg on October 2, 2005 in exchange for Anthony Malbrough. Played in 14 games with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers before being traded to the Calgary Stampeders for the remaining four games and the Western Semi-Final...with Winnipeg he recorded 71 defensive tackles and four pass knockdowns…one tackle for a loss and one interception for 61 yards…after being traded Lysack recorded three defensive tackles...he finished the season 8th in the CFL with 74 defensive tackles. In 2004 Lysack made his first big impression being named to the Western Division All-Star Team...he totalled 44 defensive tackles, five interception returns for 50 yards, three special teams tackles, three pass knockdowns, one forced fumble and two fumble returns for zero yards...started the 2004 season with the Stampeders before being traded to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in a five player and a draft pick swap between the two teams on September 26. Lysack played in 10 regular-season games with Calgary in his rookie year of 2003, recording 15 defensive tackles, three special teams tackles, one fumble return and one pass knockdown...drafted by Stampeders in the first round (fifth overall) in the 2003 CFL Canadian Draft. College Lysack played one year of college football for the University of Manitoba Bisons under head coach Brian Dobie...before joining the Bisons Lysack played a year of U.S. college football for the Rutgers University Scarlet Knights...Appearing in 11 games in 2000, Lysack recorded 10 defensive tackles, two interceptions, one blocked punt, one fumble return and one forced fumble...was the Defensive Player of the Game against Syracuse and the Special Teams Player of the Game after matches with Navy and Notre Dame.
