Wes Fry (Wesley Leonard Fry) was born on December 10, 1902 in Hartley, Iowa. After going to high school at Hartley (IA), Fry attended the University of Iowa. Fry made his professional debut in the AFLG in 1926 with the New York Yankees. He played in the AFLG for 1 year, playing for the New York Yankees the entire time. Fry also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the New York Yankees the entire time.
