Weldon Edwards (Weldon Bertrand Edwards) was born on April 15, 1924 in Comanche, Texas. After going to high school at Comanche (TX), Edwards attended Texas Christian University. Edwards made his professional debut in the NFL in 1948 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 1 year career.
