Walter Carter (Walter Burke Carter) was born on December 19, 1957 in Richmond, Virginia. After going to high school at Maggie L. Walker (Richmond, VA), Carter attended Florida State University. Carter made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his entire 1 year career.
