Born on July 29, 1899 in Washington, D.C., Walter Beall (Walter Esau Beall) played for the New York Yankees and Washington Senators over the course of his 5 year career. Beall broke into the bigs on September 3, 1924 with the New York Yankees, and put up a 3.53 ERA in 81.2 innings pitched in 1926, his rookie year.
