Walt Szot (Walter Stanley Szot) was born on March 30, 1920 in Clifton, New Jersey. After going to high school at East Rutherford (NJ), Szot attended Bucknell University. Szot made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1948 was Walt Szot's best year.
