Walt Kreinheder (Walter Roswell Kreinheder) was born on September 8, 1901 in Buffalo, New York. After going to high school at East Tech (Cleveland, OH), Kreinheder attended the University of Michigan. Kreinheder made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Akron Pros. He played for the Cleveland Bulldogs, St. Louis All-Stars and Akron Pros over the course of his 3 year career.
