Walt Clago (Walter Clago) in Detroit, Michigan. After going to high school at Cass Tech (Detroit, MI), Clago attended the University of Detroit Mercy. Clago made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Detroit Tigers. He played in the APFA for 1 year, playing for the Detroit Tigers the entire time. Clago also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Rock Island Independents the entire time.
