Walt Achiu (Walter T.K. Achiu) was born on August 3, 1902 in Honolulu, Hawaii. After going to high school at St. Louis (Honolulu, HI), Achiu attended the University of Dayton and the University of Hawaii. Achiu made his professional debut in the NFL in 1927 with the Dayton Triangles. He played for the Dayton Triangles for his entire 2 year career.
