Wally Shannon (Walter Charles Shannon) was born on January 23, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on July 9, 1959 for the St. Louis Cardinals. Shannon played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 2 year career.
