Wally Kimmick (Walter Lyons Kimmick) was born on May 30, 1897 in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 13, 1919 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1925, his rookie year, he hit .305 with 1 home run and 10 RBI. Kimmick played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Wally Kimmick's best season was 1925, when he hit for a .305 average.
