Wally Flager (Walter Leonard Flager) was born on November 3, 1921 in Chicago Heights, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1945 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1945, his rookie year, he hit .241 with 2 home runs and 21 RBI. Flager played for the Philadelphia Phillies and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 1 year career.
