Wally Dreyer (Walter O. Dreyer) was born on February 25, 1923 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dreyer attended the University of Michigan and the University of Wisconsin. Dreyer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1949 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1949 was Wally Dreyer's best year.
