Born on January 25, 1945 in Seattle, Washington, Wally Bunker (Wallace Edward Bunker) played for the Baltimore Orioles and Kansas City Royals over the course of his 9 year career. Bunker broke into the bigs on September 29, 1963 with the Baltimore Orioles, and put up a 2.69 ERA in 214 innings pitched in 1964, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Wally Bunker's best season was 1964, when he posted a 2.69 ERA, won 19 games and struck out 96 batters.
