Born on September 13, 1976 in Reading, Pennsylvania, Wade Miller (Wade Thomas Miller) played for the Houston Astros, Boston Red Sox and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 8 year career. Miller broke into the bigs on July 7, 1999 with the Houston Astros, and put up a 5.14 ERA in 105 innings pitched in 2000, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Wade Miller's best season was 2001, when he posted a 3.40 ERA, won 16 games and struck out 183 batters.
