Von Joshua (Von Everett Joshua) was born on May 1, 1948 in Oakland, California. He made his Major League debut on September 2, 1969 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1973, his rookie year, he hit .252 with 2 home runs and 17 RBI. Joshua played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants, Milwaukee Brewers and San Diego Padres over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Von Joshua's best season was 1975, when he hit for a .318 average.
