Vince Young Gets the Madden Curse

by user Christof

Vince Young, the second year quarterback for the Tennessee Titans, has been selected to grace the covers of the 2008 Madden Football video game box. In the past, he whose photo ended up on the game box also ended up getting badly hurt during the NFL year. The list includes, but is not limited to, Ray Lewis,Donovan McNabb, and Shaun Alexander.

With the Titans already losing Pacman Jones to a suspension for his misbehavior, the addition of the Madden Curse on their franchise quarterback almost guarantees a bad season in 2007 for the club. This, however, may force the Titans to pick a quarterback in the middle to late rounds in this year's NFL Draft.

THis is the biggest piece of Garbage ever. Yeah, the titans are going to draft another QB because he was on the cover. That makes total sense. He'll be fine.

Eddie George was on the downside of his career, and one playoff game is not a curse. Ray Lewis is still a friggen Pro Bowler. Alexander didn't miss the entire season, and McNabb sat out voluntarily. TO happened in SanFran without the madden curse. Faulk reitred only years after. He didn't have that much left in the tank at that point. Culpepper had the same thing later on without the Curse. Mike Vick was bound to get hurt with the way he plays.

Also, have you watched Ray Lewis play? It's a miracle when he makes it through a season healthy. HE is all over the place, and had one down year, and is back to prow bowl caliber form. Alexander diddn't reach 1,000 yards because he didn't need to work as hard because he had the big paycheck
