Vin Schleusner (Vincent Louis Schleusner) was born on March 3, 1908 in Garner, Iowa. After going to high school at Hayfield (Garner, IA), Schleusner attended the University of Iowa. Schleusner made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Portsmouth Spartans. He played for the Portsmouth Spartans for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1930 was Vin Schleusner's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
