Vic Schleich (Victor Schleich) was born on April 26, 1920 in Montrose, Colorado. After going to high school at Lincoln (NE), Schleich attended the University of Nebraska. Schleich made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1947 with the New York Yankees. He played for the New York Yankees for his entire 1 year career.
