Vic Saier (Victor Sylvester Saier) was born on May 4, 1891 in Lansing, Michigan. He made his Major League debut on May 3, 1911 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1911, his rookie year, he hit .259 with 1 home run and 37 RBI. Saier played for the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that Vic Saier's best season was 1913, when he stole 26 bases, hit for a .289 average and knocked in 92 runs.
