Vaughn Mancha (Vaughn Hall Mancha) was born on October 7, 1921 in Sugar Valley, Georgia. After going to high school at Ramsey (Birmingham, AL), Mancha attended the University of Alabama. Mancha made his professional debut in the NFL in 1948 with the Boston Yanks. He played for the Boston Yanks for his entire 1 year career.
