Van Williams (George Van Williams) was born on March 15, 1959 in Johnson City, Tennessee. After going to high school at Science Hill (Johnson City, TN), Williams attended Carson-Newman College and East Tennessee State University. Williams made his professional debut in the NFL in 1983 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills and New York Giants over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1984 was Van Williams's best year.
