As it says above, I'm only 15 but am already enjoying writing sports articles. I've grown up University of Michigan-trained despite living in New England most of my life, and have watched college football all my life. I only have gotten into the NFL and MLB recently, as my favorite teams have had a string of success lately. And no, that doesn't make me a bandwagon jumper.
Will I continue to write sports articles for a living? I don't know. I haven't even gone to college yet. Maybe it'll help pay my way through if I strike gold somewhere.
[edit] Stuff To Do
Though I keep myself busy, I do have some things I'm working on.
- is a mock draft that I write almost weekly. Despite there being a lot of time left before the draft, I write the mock drafts anyway.
- I'll also pop out an occasional random article, news brief or picture/video of the day whenever something catches my eye.
[edit] A Few Sports Quotes
"On a day when the Patriots could have had impact players David Terrell or Koren Robinson or the second-best tackle in the draft in Kenyatta Walker, they took Georgia defensive tackle Richard Seymour, who had 1 sacks last season in the pass-happy SEC and is too tall to play tackle at 6-6 and too slow to play defensive end. This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon."
-Ron Borges, MSNBC after 2001 Draft.
"We do not feel like character is an issue here. We think he’s exceptional from that standpoint."
–Jeff Fisher, after drafting Adam “Pac-Man” Jones in 2005.
"There are no geniuses in the game of football. A genius is someone like Norman Einstein."
-Joe Theismann
