Old School Gayle Sayers runs, the year in early 90s (is like 4am too tired to find exact year--92? 93? 94?--USC beat the 13+ year losing streak to Notre Dame, I was at an LA Kings Hockey game and they announced it in the Forum and the crowd went NUTS.
Worst MomentThe Paul Hackett and John Robinson 1990s decade of USC Football. Steve Bartman man. Any USC loss to UCLA. Whenever/If ever Pete Carroll leave his coaching job at USC for something else. Walter Payton's death. Teddy Bruschi's stroke.
Favorite AthletesOld School - Payton. He had class and talent and was a perfect Chicago Bear.
Newer school - Favre. He also has class and talent and character and an obvious deep love for playing football that GAME in a day and age when so many players lose sight of the fact that it is a GAME in their battle for bigger and better contracts. Newest school - gotta give a shout out to fellow Trojan and object of a longtime gridiron goddess crush Matt Leinart.
Least Favorite AthletesT.O. - the ego, really? Do you really think your shit don't stink T.O. And why do teams keep taking a chance on him. Daryl Strawberry - just classless. David Justce - thug. Michael Vick - do I need to say it.
