Acquired:

Signed as a free agent 2005.

2006:

Appearing in all 18 regular season games as well as the 2006 West Championship and Grey Cup, the hard-edged long snapper and back-up linebacker earned a reputation among the league’s special team coaches as a tireless warrior. Able to snap on both punts and field goals the third-year Lion also recorded 17 STT (3rd) and one defensive stop. Tyson also made a critical fumble recovery in the 2006 West Championship versus Saskatchewan.

2005:

In his first year with the Lions, Tyson played a crucial role on special teams as the Lions long snapper. Made the team out of training camp as an undrafted free agent. Dressed for all 18 regular season games plus the 2005 West Championship vs Edmonton. Ranked 6th on the team with 9 special teams tackles.

College:

2004:

Craiggs recorded one interception for 15 yards, 38 kickoffs for 1909 yards, and 66 tackles in 12 games. When he went undrafted in 2004, he chose to return to the University of Saskatchewan to play another season with the Huskies.

2002:

Craiggs finished third in the country with 59 solo tackles and was a member of the CIS Mitchell Bowl Champions.

Personal:

Craiggs played junior football locally for the Tri-City Bulldogs (2001), as well as for St. Thomas More Collegiate. He comes from excellent football bloodlines as his father, Ted, played one year for the BC Lions (1976) and was a former assistant coach for the club.
