Troy Neel (Troy Lee Neel) was born on September 14, 1965 in Freeport, Texas. He made his Major League debut on May 30, 1992 for the Oakland Athletics. In 1993, his rookie year, he hit .290 with 19 home runs and 63 RBI. Neel played for the Oakland Athletics for his entire 3 year career.
