Troy Edwards (Troy Edwards) was born on April 7, 1977 in Shreveport, Louisiana. After going to high school at Huntington (Shreveport, LA), Edwards attended Louisiana Institute of Technology. Edwards made his professional debut in the NFL in 1999 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Detroit Lions and St. Louis Rams over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1999 was Troy Edwards's best year, as he hauled in 61 receptions, had 714 receiving yards and caught 5 TD passes.
