Townsend Bell

Townsend Bell is currently driving the #23 Dreyer & Reinbold entry, splitting time with Milka Duno. Bell won the final Indy Lights season run by CART in 2001, and had finished second the previous year. He ran a short stint in CART with Patrick Racing in 2002, replaced in mid-season. He then turned his attention to Europe, driving Formula 3000 (at the time, the feeder series for Formula One). He finished ninth in the series.
He returned to the United States to run for Panther Racing as a mid-year replacement. He only ran one race in 2005 as a replacement for Tomas Enge, then ran the 2006 Indianapolis 500 for Vision Racing.
