Born on January 29, 1946 in Brunswick, Georgia, Tony Pierce (Tony Michael Pierce) played for the Kansas City Athletics and Oakland Athletics over the course of his 2 year career. Pierce broke into the bigs on April 14, 1967 with the Kansas City Athletics, and put up a 3.04 ERA in 97.2 innings pitched in 1967, his rookie year.
