Born on July 18, 1868 in Washington, D.C., Tony Madigan (William J. Madigan) played for the Washington Senators for his entire 1 year career. Madigan broke into the bigs on July 10, 1886 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 5.06 ERA in 115.2 innings pitched in 1886, his rookie year.
