Tony Jeter (Anthony John Jeter) was born on September 8, 1944 in Steubenville, Ohio. After going to high school at Weirton (WV), Jeter attended the University of Nebraska. Jeter made his professional debut in the NFL in 1966 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1966 was Tony Jeter's best year.
