Born on September 23, 1957 in Havana, Cuba, Tony Fossas (Emilio Antonio (Morejon) Fossas) played for the Texas Rangers, Milwaukee Brewers, Boston Red Sox, St. Louis Cardinals, Seattle Mariners, Chicago Cubs and New York Yankees over the course of his 12 year career. Fossas broke into the bigs on May 15, 1988 with the Texas Rangers, and put up a 3.54 ERA in 61 innings pitched in 1989, his rookie year.
