Tony Dorsett (Anthony Drew Dorsett) was born on April 7, 1954 in Rochester, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA), Dorsett attended the University of Pittsburgh. Dorsett made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos over the course of his 12 year career.
Most people believe that 1985 was Tony Dorsett's best year, as he ran for 1307 yards, ran in 7 TDs and hauled in 46 receptions.
