Tony Blount (Anthony Urban Blount) was born on November 5, 1958 in Atlanta, Georgia. After going to high school at Frederick Douglass (Atlanta, GA), Blount attended the University of Virginia. Blount made his professional debut in the NFL in 1980 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 1 year career.
