Tommy Wade (Thomas Virgil Wade) was born on March 23, 1942 in Henderson, Texas. After going to high school at Henderson (TX), Wade attended the University of Texas. Wade made his professional debut in the NFL in 1964 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1965 was Tommy Wade's best year.
