Tom Rodgers (Thomas Edward Rodgers) was born on January 20, 1923 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at New Kensington (PA), Rodgers attended Bucknell University. Rodgers made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the Boston Yanks. He played for the Boston Yanks for his entire 1 year career.
