Tom Parkinson (Thomas H. Parkinson) was born on March 16, 1907 in Fayette City, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at California (Coal Center, PA), Parkinson attended the University of Pittsburgh. Parkinson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1931 with the Staten Island Stapletons. He played for the Staten Island Stapletons for his entire 1 year career.
