Tom Palmer (Thomas Palmer) was born on August 12, 1929. After going to high school at Collingswood (NJ), Palmer attended Wake Forest University. Palmer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1953 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 2 year career.
