Tom Nieto (Thomas Andrew Nieto) was born on October 27, 1960 in Downey, California. He made his Major League debut on May 10, 1984 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1985, his rookie year, he hit .225 with 0 home runs and 34 RBI. Nieto played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Montreal Expos, Minnesota Twins and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 7 year career.
