Tom Kearns (Thomas Norman Kearns) was born on November 26, 1920 in Bedford, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Somerville (MA), Kearns attended the University of Miami. Kearns made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the New York Giants. He played for the Chicago Cardinals and New York Giants over the course of his 2 year career.
