Tom Hannon (Thomas Edward Hannon) was born on March 5, 1955 in Massillon, Ohio. After going to high school at Washington (Massillon, OH), Hannon attended Michigan State University. Hannon made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Minnesota Vikings for his entire 8 year career.
Most people believe that 1980 was Tom Hannon's best year, as he picked off 4 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
