Tom Farmer (Thomas Manduis Farmer) was born on April 17, 1921 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After going to high school at Wilson (Cedar Rapids, IA), Farmer attended the University of Iowa. Farmer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Washington Redskins and Los Angeles Rams over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1948 was Tom Farmer's best year.
