Tom Dukes

Born on August 31, 1942 in Knoxville, Tennessee, Tom Dukes (Thomas Earl Dukes) played for the Houston Astros, San Diego Padres, Baltimore Orioles and California Angels over the course of his 6 year career. Dukes broke into the bigs on August 15, 1967 with the Houston Astros, and put up a 4.27 ERA in 52.2 innings pitched in 1968, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Tom Dukes's best season was 1970, when he posted a 4.04 ERA, notched 10 saves and struck out 56 batters.
